The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is the volunteer branch of the United States Coast Guard, established by Congress in 1939 to assist in promoting boating safety.  Today, there are about 30,000 active Auxiliary members throughout the United States.

Division 22 patrols The Long Island Sound from Matinecock Point to Mount Sinai Harbor serving the Long Island community in New York State North of the Long Island Expressway from the Bayville bridge to the William Floyd Parkway.  Our controlling Coast Guard Unit is Station Eatons Neck, Northport NY.  We consist of seven Flotillas based (from west to east) in Oyster Bay, Cold Spring Harbor, Huntington, Northport, Fort Salonga, Stony Brook and Port Jefferson.  our meetings are normally held on the first Thursday of every month except for January, February and December at previously announced locations.  Guests are welcome!  For more information; contact our Division Commander.  Refreshments and social time starts at 7:00 pm and the meeting starts at 7:30 pm.  All members and guests are welcome to attend any meeting of the Division or its Flotillas.
